VW Vietnam Ltd. is a young, dynamical and fast growing company, that was established in June 1993 with Belgian funds.
The perspective of the company is the developing of new kinds of biological products based on coco fibre for use in agriculture, horticulture and landscaping.
Our products are entirely biodegradable and have no negative effects on the environment, either during production or when being applied. They are made out of the empty husks inside which the coconut is enclosed.
The environmental-friendly, organical substrats we produce can be devided into two large categories: Coco Chips and Coco Coir Nets.
The Coco Chips have two fields of application. On the one hand, they are being used as a soil-improver, a substitute for peat. The high rate at which the natural peat reserve is being exploited, entices us to keep the remaining peat polders as protected areas, and subsequently raises the need for an alternative product.
On the other hand, Coco Chips are being used within the field of hydro-culture, as an alternative for other, less environmental-friendly products, such as rock wool, glass fibre, agrex, foam, etc...

Coco Coirs Nets are woven out of coco fibre. They are being applied as an organical fixation of slopes, riverbanks and ponds, who often suffer from erosion.
