Extended applications - As a protection against erosion of steep riverbanks, they can be covered with Coco Coir Nets and Roles to fixate them for several years. This is sufficient time for the vegetation to develop enough roots for restoring the natural fixation of these riverbanks. Also banks along larger lake-edges and ponds frequently visited by waterbirds can be stabilized in the same way. - Other applications, such as a support for creeping plants.

| The production |
The first stage of the production of Coco Coir Nets and Roles is similar to the production of Coco Chips. The main difference is that the husk of coconuts is not chipped into small pieces, but that they are torn into loose fibre. These long fibres are fit to spin the cords with which the nets are woven. To obtain the Coco Coir Roles, both sides of the net are sewn together and afterwards it is being stuffed with Coco Chips. |

All these products are being treated in such a way as to obtain the highest possible quality standard. |
